Lister Agreement

1. Authority to list

By submitting a listing, you confirm that you are the property owner, an authorised agent, or otherwise have lawful authority to advertise the property. You must not list a property without permission.

2. Accurate information

You must provide accurate property details, rent figures, fees, availability, location information, photographs and contact information. You must promptly update a listing if any material detail changes.

3. Verification and publication

Every new listing may be reviewed or verified before publication. Verification does not guarantee that a listing will be published or ranked in a particular position. VaseCrib may request clarification, supporting documents or access for inspection.

4. Conduct and safety

You must treat users respectfully and must not request undisclosed fees, misrepresent a property, use misleading media, discriminate unlawfully, or engage in conduct that creates a safety or fraud risk.

5. Removal and enforcement

VaseCrib may suspend, reject, remove or mark a listing for review where we reasonably believe it is inaccurate, unsafe, fraudulent, unlawful, or inconsistent with this agreement. Serious or repeated breaches may result in account suspension.

6. Your responsibility

You remain responsible for the property, the accuracy of your information, your communications and any separate rental agreement you enter into. You agree to cooperate with reasonable verification and dispute-review requests.

7. Rent payment and direct settlement

Before submitting a listing, you must enter the actual annual rent and disclose every additional one-time fee separately, including agent, agreement, and other fees. Optional house rules must be accurate and lawful. All amounts are shown to the seeker before payment.

When full rent is successfully paid through VaseCrib, Paystack Transaction Splits routes the rent and your disclosed listing fees directly to your verified Paystack subaccount. VaseCrib does not receive, hold, or delay release of rent. Paystack processing charges are shown separately at checkout. VaseCrib's service fee is waived.

After full payment the listing is marked Reserved and removed from public search. You must hand over the keys and access and record your confirmation on VaseCrib within 72 hours. The seeker must also confirm receipt. If you cannot complete handover, contact VaseCrib support promptly. A rent payment already split to your subaccount is not automatically refundable through VaseCrib.

8. Physical viewing requests

A seeker may choose to pay the disclosed inspection fee and request a physical viewing before paying rent. VaseCrib administrators manually confirm availability, arrange the visit, and send meeting details to the seeker by email. No automatic availability request is sent to you. If the property matches the listing, the inspection fee is not refundable. If the property is unavailable or materially does not match, VaseCrib may approve a refund of the inspection fee only. Rent is not charged before the seeker separately completes full rent payment.

9. Payments and notifications

All payments must be initiated only on VaseCrib through Paystack. You must not ask a seeker to pay you, an agent, or a VaseCrib representative outside the platform. Keep your verified settlement account and contact details current. VaseCrib may send a transactional email and, where you have opted in, a WhatsApp notification after a successful full-rent payment.
